About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Business Development Manager (ABDM) to lead sales operations in the assigned territory. The role involves driving business growth, managing a team of Medical Representatives, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets
- Forecast sales and monitor performance
- Identify new market opportunities
Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, train, and manage Medical Representatives
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching
- Motivate teams to achieve targets
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, and KOLs
- Manage distributors and channel partners
- Organize CMEs, seminars, and product trainings
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track market and competitor trends
- Submit regular sales and activity reports
- Manage budgets and ensure ROI
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with supply chain for inventory and deliveries
Candidate Profile:
Education:
Graduate in Science / Life Sciences / Pharmacy
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in pharma sales with 12 years in leadership role
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- CRM tools and MS Office knowledge
Personal Traits:
- Self-driven and target-oriented
