Role Purpose
To lead and develop the entire business operations for Jharkhand state, driving sales growth, building a strong field force, expanding doctor connect, and ensuring effective implementation of marketing strategies for the Nuvanta division.
Key Responsibilities
1. State Business Leadership
•Own the complete P&L and business growth for Jharkhand.
•Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the state.
•Identify high-potential territories and growth opportunities.
2. Team Building & People Management
•Lead and manage Area Managers / Territory Managers / Medical Representatives.
•Conduct joint field work, coaching, and performance reviews.
•Drive productivity, discipline, and motivation within the team.
•Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
3. Market Development
•Strengthen doctor engagement and prescription generation.
•Develop relationships with KOLs, hospitals, and leading clinics.
•Expand market penetration in key therapy segments.
4. Strategy Execution
•Implement marketing campaigns and brand strategies effectively in the state.
•Conduct CME programs, doctor meetings, and scientific activities.
5. Distribution Management
•Ensure stockist alignment and product availability across the state.
•Monitor secondary sales, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
6. Business Monitoring
•Analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and market share.
•Prepare state-level action plans and monthly business reviews.
Experience
•10–15 years pharmaceutical sales experience
•3–5 years experience in managerial role (State Head/ RM)
•Experience handling large geography or state business preferred
