About the Role
Psychotropics India Ltd. is looking for dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Managers (ASM) to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution networks, and lead field sales operations in assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have experience in OTC, FMCG, or Pharma sales with strong leadership and market development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
- Manage, guide, and motivate Sales Officers to maximize territory performance.
- Develop and expand the distributor and retailer network.
- Increase market penetration and product visibility across the assigned area.
- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct regular market visits, field coaching, and performance reviews.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure effective execution of company sales and promotional plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in OTC, FMCG, or Pharma sales.
- Prior experience in team handling and field force management will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of distribution management and market development.
