Area Sales Manager – Ghaziabad – Wanbury

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Executives in the assigned area.
  • Achieve area-wise sales targets (primary and secondary) and ensure ROI.
  • Coach, guide, and motivate the team for effective product promotion and doctor conversion.
  • Conduct joint field work with team members to ensure effective doctor and chemist engagement.
  • Monitor daily call reports, territory coverage, and customer interactions.
  • Conduct regular team reviews and provide feedback for performance improvement.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, CMEs, and doctor group meetings.
  • Analyse sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
  • Ensure timely reporting, documentation and compliance with company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Commerce (B.Sc, B.Pharm, B.Com)
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales,
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market and doctor network
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
  • Proven track record of target achievement and team development
