The position

 As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for –

 Functional responsibilities

  • Developing new business in untapped Institutions
  • Registering the company /products in new institutions
  • Ensuring profitable business in a competitive environment
  • Monthly sales forecast based on competitive quotations submitted
  • Mobilizing orders at current approved hospital rates.
  • Rate contract for new products for existing institutions for new institutions
  • Plan tour for developing business, discuss business issues, establishing products, appointment of potential stockiest, and liaise, with government bodies.
  • Recovery of earnest money / security deposits due for refund
  • Develop documentations system for registration certificate/ GMP Certificate and relevant documents/award of rate contacts to Ho.
  • Follow up for orders, realisation of pending payments & deposit Refunds
  • Submitting bills of liaison agency fees, service charge claims, as per   term of appointment
  • Liaise with company department and government institutions for Expediting registration, order process till payment realisation
  • Developing; long term profitable institutional business.
  • Implementing operational guidelines and systems to minimize price Fluctuations and ensure sustained profitable business
  • Submission of tender dashboard with competitor prices & our prices on fortnightly basis
  • Develop close contact with CMD’s & KOL’s of all major institutions and ensure all business realisation
  • Identification of new potential institutions for future business Development

Projects & Activities

  • Co-ordinate with internal customer for on time documentation. EMD for rate contacts, logistics and ensure
  • Submission of tenders on time to improve institutions business.
  • With external customer develop institution business by introducing MI in new institutions like, DHS & PSU’s
  • And timely collections of payments.
  • Ensure effective coordination with head office and smooth administrative functioning of the team 

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Leading the promotion and implementation of the Novo Nordisk Way
  • Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant State and country statutory requirements
  • Develop and retain a high performing sales team, communicate business strategy clearly and engage employees through personal connect 
  • Accountable for ensuring a fair rewards system, by anchoring an objective performance and compensation review within the Novo Nordisk guidelines
  • Custodian of organization culture and ensuring fair grievance management and speedy redressal

You will build a strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through on-going/robust scientific interactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Also ensure compliance with all relevant State and country statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • You hold a full-time Bachelors’ degree in Pharma / Science from a reputed institution. MBA in business management will be an added advantage.
  • More than 10 years of experience (with more than 4 years in selling proprietary drugs) in MNCs (preferably) with 6+ years as a manager.
  • Exposure to Diabetes or other therapy areas like Oncology, Cardiology etc.
  • Should be open to relocation
  • Good in communication and negotiation skill and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind.
