Purpose

Manage a large brand for strategic direction and operational efficiency. Analyse data, draft and execute marketing plan for product portfolio, design and develop direct marketing and promotional, material, analyze and recommend new product launch for allocated products within GSK guidelines with the objective of achieving market share and sales and profits for allocated products.

Key Responsibility

  • MARKETING PLAN – Scan external and internal environment, draft marketing plan for allocated products, build KOL, in order to achieve the market share, sales targets and profits for allocated products.
  • PROMOTIONS – Design and pretest promotional tools, sell and educate promotional strategy to field force, monitor and review promotions in order to drive market share and sales in the allocated products.
  • TRAINING – Analyze training needs, liaise with Medical Team, design and conduct training programs in order to upgrade field skills in both product knowledge and sales skills.
  • FIELD SUPPORT – Liaise with Production and Distribution, respond to queries of field staff and medical practitioners, prepare and submit monthly reports in order to provide timely accurate information.
  • NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH – Analyze market research data, identify gaps in product portfolio, draft and present proposal for new product launch, execute launch plan in order to launch new products to increase market share.
  • REGIONAL PRODUCT MANAGEMENT – Identify and analyze local requirements, liaise with RBM and HO develop local marketing strategies, align with national plan, assist execution of the strategies in order to meet local marketing needs.
  • DOCUMENTATION – Document and submit reports and learning on all marketing activities liaise with GW Global to gain global learnings in order to ensure availability of information and access to global learning.
  • NETWORKING – Establish contact with Regional counterparts, exchange marketing information migrate best practices in order to improve overall market share (region).
  • PROFIT IMPROVEMENT – Liaise and packing and production departments to explore opportunities and avenues to reduce cost of goods in order to improve profit contribution.

Position Requirements

  • Must have Pharmaceuticals experience
  • Masters Degree is a must (MBA in Marketing)
  • 4 to 8 yrs experience (out of which minimum 2 yrs experience in product management)
